Doctoral Thesis
The interaction with a technical device, especially a robot, should be designed simply and conveniently for a human being. An interaction and user experience can be well described by two models. Thereby, various components work together and imply a temporal and dynamic process of the user’s experience. Moreover, interaction and user experience are determined by various factors, e.g. cognitive and physical stress, emotions (frustration, satisfaction), usability and age. Above all, acceptance for the machine plays a very important role. The project investigates how the factors influence each other, the interaction and the acceptance for robots.
